The Bakery first opened its doors in October 2006. It has since become increasingly popular due to the products served; this is demonstrated by the awards won since its inauspicious beginning.
A large verandah looks to the northeast: here, you can sit out in the sun and relax while having a cup of coffee and a pie, a sandwich or whatever takes your fancy. In the winter, several cosy and efficient gas heaters further warm this enclosed area.
Yes, the brightly painted tables and chairs are from the past: inside you will find a magnificent cafeteria, and again (believe it or not), air-conditioning – when the silly old bugger pays the bills! A separate room for coaches and conferences is available next to The Bakery. This room, which is a toned-down version of The Bakery, has its own character, and is capable of seating up to 100 people. Ample coach parking is provided.
